Okay. Boob-talk time. Specifically Bras.
In a post a while ago, I told you all that I have lost a couple of inches off my body. Specifically almost 2 boob inches, and 1.5 inches off both my waist and hip. I am a big believer in underwear that fits! Your underwear is supposed to be comfortable and supportive. A little sexiness doesn't hurt either - but whether you are wearing a bra for comfort, leisure or vampy needs - the fact of the matter is, the bra MUST fit and support you. Otherwise, what's the point? Hmm - and then, aside from those things - remember that your underwear is the very foundation layer of your clothing - it is a layer that helps define shape.
Recently, on losing my inches, I tweeted that I was looking for a new Multi-way Bra... little did I know that the bra I found would become one of my favourite items of clothing - and quickly, at that!
The Gok Wan Balconette Banger Booster from SimplyBe/SimplyYours is AMAZING, and my F-Cups feel supported, comfortable and HAPPY! This is seriously a bra revelation for me and I didn't realise how poorly fitting my old bras were. This is a bra that basically makes my boobs feel like they are floating.
Being honest - I was REALLY uncertain when buying this bra. I was skeptical about a Celebrity based product (even though I've met Gok and love his positive body image TV shows, I wasn't 100% sure about his ability as a designer, as such). I initially ordered one bra - in Vintage (beige) colour... what an amazing purchase! The support I am feeling is absolutely immense - support through my back which is helped by the three hook closure and my shoulder straps then add support, but aren't relied upon. The bra's material is structured, but also has the softness you need to feel comfort. Now, although I was not a HUGE fan of the Beigeyness of the Vintage colour at first, it has grown on me (admittedly, I had only really worn black bras for about ten years) - same with the cups, indeed, they were initially fuller than what I was used to, but now - they are absolutely perfect and I am obsessed with this product. In fact, I now own this bra in red and blue AND have a black one on the way. The truth is, this is a quality bra. Supportive and comfortable and I can not recommend it highly enough. Also - I have been wearing the bras now for over three weeks - and in that time, my adoration for this product has continued to grow. Seriously!
The Gok Wan Balconette Banger Booster also has cute touches, including a baby "g" in the cleavage to signify the "Gok" product as well as a little leopard print on the lining to make you feel very feminine.

ReplyDeleteMegan as a tranvestite I also love the Banger Booster and yes WOW is the word what an uplift it gives and how much support it gives me as well. I feel secure and confident whatever I wear. I agree it somehow uplift and merges like no other bra I have worn. I have bought all the colours and wears them to work. Thanks a lot for a blog.
